About the event
It is difficult to know how you can contribute and give back to our nation's veterans. How do we thank the ones that risk their lives daily, so that all Americans can enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Our veterans give us their all, so its time we gave back. The Giving Hand in partnership with Homeless Free America and the LAPD have come together to give back to the veterans that sacrifice themselves for our safety everyday. We will be distributing hot meals (provided by McDonald's) clothes, shoes, and hygiene packs to homeless veterans. This small gesture is just our way of telling them, "We appreciate all that you have done!"
